Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers. Remove the printer from “Print server properties” Press the Windows key + R and type in “services.msc” NOTE: in my experience there was no such Dymo folder one one user's computer, but there was on a different user's. Highlight the entire LabelWriter 450 DUO folder and delete it Note: You might have a “Label” and “Tape” mentioned separately, remove both. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Printers Press the Windows key + R to open the Run prompt and type in “regedit”īrowse the subfolders and remove anything that says DYMO LabelWriter 450 DUO Note: You might have one entry in the Defaults folder, read “Data” Remove all keys related to the LabelWriter 450 DUO in the registry Right-click on the printer and select “Remove device” Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers Remove the printer from the Control Panel Update: it worked!ĭisconnect both POWER and USB cables from the back of the DYMO printer I have yet to try the below steps myself but I'll report back with any success.
